Whenever I hear, read or watch a report about the new advances on finding a cure or vaccine for AIDS, all I think is “Damn you, Freddie Mercury, if only you kept your will of living, you’d be still here”.

Today, while driving to the University Village, I was listening to a song named ”These are the days of our lives” composed by Queen for the album Innuendo (1991) and it was performed by George Michael and Lisa Stansfield during the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for Awareness of AIDS (May 1992). It was a very good performance, but the world never had the opportunity to hear it live with Freddie’s magnificent voice… I cried my heart out all the way to my french class.
